🔥 Angel Deals of the Week
Angel funding rounds announced in recent weeks, compiled from public sources or via direct announcement. These deals represent the elite few that survived an angel network’s vetting process. Note: I have not personally analyzed these companies and am sharing for informational purposes only.
📊 Angel Network Investment Tracker: 158 Deals, 97 Networks.

Terran Robotics | AI robots building adobe homes
Participating Groups: Keystone Investing
Terran Robotics is developing AI-driven construction robots that autonomously build walls from on-site subsoil and locally sourced clay - an adobe (earth-based) construction method - to address the US housing shortage. The cable-driven robot operates around the clock with a two-person crew, replacing conventional framing, insulation, and drywall with a single earth-based wall system the company says produces 80% less embodied carbon than traditional construction. Keystone Investing recently participated in the company's Seed Round.

Poultry Patrol is developing autonomous robots that patrol poultry barns around the clock, stimulating bird movement, detecting feed spills and water leaks, and flagging health concerns between human visits. Founded in 2024 and based in Coralville, Iowa, the company says its robots have logged nearly 1,000 days of work in turkey barns. VANE, an angel network of veterinary and animal health professionals, recently announced its investment to support further technology development and deployment.

🥇 The Nugget: My Top Takeaway from A Conversation with Dr. Solomon King
Every angel network is unique, and that's the point 🌍
Every angel network gathers regularly for a common purpose: to invest in startups that fit some predefined theme or focus.
An industry focus. A regional focus. An ideological focus. The list goes on.
And while there are core elements that apply across the board, what makes angel groups so fascinating is that every community is totally unique. Every one is made up of people with wildly different backgrounds, and there is a special flavor to each one.
Dr. King has clearly shaped in the Lagos Angel Network over the last two years with that in mind - borrowing inspiration from established groups, then making it distinctly Nigerian.
From Dr. King: "A lot of things are different. We have cultural differences. We're more communal than some other societies and this brings to bear how we deal with money and businesses in Africa.”
Takeaway: The best angel networks aren't imports - they're inventions. Contextualize everything.
